Safety Disclaimer
Please read this disclaimer before ordering, handling or using dry ice.
Dry ice is an extremely cold industrial product. Read and follow all safety guidance before handling it.
- Dry ice can cause cold burns. Skin contact with dry ice, even briefly, can cause injuries similar to burns. Always use insulated gloves and appropriate protective equipment.
- Dry ice releases carbon dioxide gas. As it sublimates, dry ice continuously releases CO₂, which can displace oxygen in enclosed spaces.
- Ventilation is required. Never handle, store or transport dry ice in unventilated rooms, vehicles or containers.
- Airtight storage can cause pressure buildup. Sealing dry ice in an airtight container can cause the container to rupture. Only use insulated containers that allow gas to escape.
- Customers are responsible for following applicable safety guidance, workplace regulations and any rules specific to their industry or application after the product is handed over.
- Website information is general. The safety information on this website is provided for general awareness and does not replace professional training, workplace risk assessments or regulatory requirements.
- Confirm application suitability before ordering. Whether dry ice is appropriate for a particular application — including blasting, special effects and enclosed-space cooling — should be confirmed with a qualified assessment before use.
